Schaefer’s Greenhouse is home to one of the largest supplies of Nursery Stock in the Fox Valley. Our grower network consists of some of the best nurseries in North America.

Monrovia Nursery has locations in both Oregon and California and provides us with a wide variety of plant materials. Their Oregon location offers hardy plants like Boxwood, Holly and Euonymus. The climate there is perfect for the growth of Evergreens and Conifers like topiary Junipers, Dwarf Alberta Spruce, Arborvitae and Austrian Pine. Their growing season starts earlier than ours so the plants like Barberry, Hydrangea, Potentilla, Spirea have broken dormancy and are leafing out in their early spring colors.

Bailey Nurseries, with locations in Minnesota and Oregon, provides us with a wide variety of plants including Endless Summer Hydrangea, Lilacs (Dwarf, Common and French Hybrid) and Fragrant Viburnum.

Greenleaf Nursery out of Oklahoma provides us with a vast selection of the increasingly popular Proven Winner® Color Choice® Flowering Shrubs. Favorites include Compact Butterfly Bush, Adonis Blue, Peacock, and Purple Emperor. Also the hardy Hibiscus or Rose of Sharon ‘Satin and Chiffon series’. The Satins are single Flowering and the Chiffons are double flowering. Greenleaf also provides us with container trees like Flowering Crab Trees and Shade Trees just the right size to take home and plant yourself.
